Hourly pay range $36-41 Job Responsibilities                                               Your specific duties as a Network Permitting Specialist will include:

• The Network Permitting Specialist is responsible for preparing and submitting entitlement applications, permits, and agreements to support the installation of communications infrastructure.
• This role requires a strong understanding of municipal processes and frequent interaction with local governments and jurisdictions.
• Prepare and submit zoning and permitting applications; monitor progress and respond to jurisdictional requests.
• Collaborate with design teams to facilitate permit drawings and construction documents.
• Provide timely updates and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent the company in municipal meetings to secure zoning approvals.
• Ensure compliance with permit conditions throughout project stages.
• Track and report costs associated with permitting; manage reimbursements.
• Support internal teams with agreement reviews and legal compliance.
• Maintain relationships with municipal staff and community groups. Job Requirements
• Permitting Experience in South Florida – Especially with utility companies building in the right-of-way.
• Strong Organizational & Communication Skills – Effective verbal and written communication, time management, and task prioritization.
• Relationship Building – Ability to establish trust with jurisdictions, customers, and internal teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years in Planning, Zoning, Land Use, or Wireless Industry.
• Experience in zoning and permitting is required.
• Familiarity with corporate environments and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of planning and zoning codes.
• Public speaking and presentation experience.
• Understanding of construction plans and terminology.
• Contract and title documentation comprehension.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
