We are working with an amazing collections law company in Ft. Wright, KY to hire an Accounting Specialist to join their team! The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for reconciling operating deposits and trust account deposits, meeting clients’ deadlines and specifications, have excellent communication, organizational, and people skills. The Accounting Specialist will be a self-motivator, someone who works well with little supervision.
The responsibilities for an Accounting Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Generating statements and reports using accounting software
- Developing automated spreadsheets using Excel
- Maintaining trust account deposits and refunds, posts to correct accounts using chart of account.
- Organizing and maintaining financial records
- Coordinating vendor transactions
Accounting Specialist Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
- Prioritizes and plans work activities.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Works well in a team environment.
- Ability to work under stress with interruptions and deadlines.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with others.
Accounting Specialist Requirements:
- Associate degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
- Six months experience working in an office environment.
- Experience in the legal industry is preferred but not required.
- Experience using accounting software is a plus.
