Job Title: Administrative Coordinator - Transportation
Pay: Up to $23/hr
Hours: Monday to Friday 8-5
We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator located in St. Louis, MO. The Administrative Coordinator will work with carriers to negotiate rates and ensure shipments are picked up and delivered on time.
As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Monitor, analyze and negotiate freight rates with existing contract carriers
Review established origin/destination points and negotiate rates with new and existing carriers to increase carrier base and reduce freight costs
Expedite transportation solutions by trouble-shooting immediately when problems arise
Contact facility representative and broker account to determine when product is available to ship
At least 2-3 years experience in the traffic/transportation industry
Must be highly detail oriented
Must have excellent communications skills
Demonstrate proficiency in Word and Excel
High School Diploma or equivalent required - Bachelor’s degree preferred
