Duties and Responsibilities for Fuel Handler:

• Continuously monitor and operate the Boiler Fuel System
• Feed fuel into the system and maintain proper working order including dealing with plug-ups
• Clean boiler cells by using proper cell procedures and combustion chamber
• Operate front-end loader/bobcat
• Monitor boiler equipment/gauges/valves
• Monitor boiler computer readout
• Firewatch
• Cleanup during down times
• Rotate to different positions for cross-training
• Assist co-workers and maintenance personnel in basic maintenance procedures for boiler area

Responsibilities for Production Worker:

• Working as a team to cut, stack and bind different varieties of wood that is being made into moulding - this will be a majority of the job.
• Feeding a single blade rip saw with wood of different lengths
• Looking for any defects on the wood before passing it through the machine (may result in needing to running it under a saw to cut out the defects)
• Remove the boards from the rip saw and stack it onto carts in order to band it and get it ready for shipping
• Working on a grinding machine
• 1st couple of weeks while training, some "standing around" will occur. (remember, you are being paid to stand around so absorb what you can as you are watching others as they work and don't be afraid to ask questions). 

Requirements for Production Worker:

• Must be able to stand  and walk throughout shift
• Be a team player as it is a small group of employees working together
• Valid Driver's License preferred -may be asked to drive company cargo van or 24 ft curtain truck to help with deliveries
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs by yourself.  WILL TRAIN ON PROPER techniques to lift and carry boards of different lengths
• ATTENDANCE IS CRITICAL as you are part of a small team and it's hard to make adjustments to get the orders out when people are missing
