As a CoGen Boiler Operator Assistant, you’ll work directly with the Lead Operator to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable boiler functioning. This role is perfect for motivated individuals with mechanical aptitude who are eager to advance their careers in industrial operations.

What You'll Do

As a CoGen Boiler Operator Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Lead CoGen Boiler Operator with daily operational tasks and routine maintenance activities to support smooth plant functions.
• Safely lifting up to 50 lbs consistently and following all safety protocols to ensure personal and team safety.
• Learning and supporting processes related to waste management, gas systems, and boiler operations—training will be provided; prior experience is a plus but not required.
• Monitoring boiler systems and assisting in their operation under supervision to ensure safe and efficient performance.
• Communicating effectively with team members and adhering to all safety standards at all times.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine willingness to learn new skills.
• Experience with waste and gas systems or boiler operations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Reliability, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude.

Location & Schedule

This position is on-site in Roseburg, OR, offering rotating 12-hour shifts: one month days (7a-7p), one month nights (7p-7a), with shift rotation over a 3-4 day workweek. Availability for overtime is required.
