Job Title: Pool & Facilities Maintenance Technician

Pay: $16.00–$18.00/hour, DOE Hours: Wednesday – Sunday 12:30PM – 9:00PM Start Date: ASAP

As a Pool & Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting the property's daily operations, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests and staff alike. You'll collaborate closely with the maintenance team to keep the facilities running smoothly and uphold the resort's high standards.

What You'll Do

As a Pool & Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Testing pool temperatures hourly to ensure guest comfort and safety.
  • Monitoring and adjusting pool chemical levels, especially chlorine, every 3 hours for proper sanitation.
  • Monitoring and maintaining pool and spa systems, including pumps and filters.
  • Cleaning pools, filters, decks, and surrounding areas to keep outdoor spaces appealing.
  • Performing routine repairs, such as plumbing, electrical, or carpentry work as needed.
  • Responding promptly to maintenance requests to resolve issues quickly.
  • Maintaining outdoor areas including walkways, decks, and common spaces.
  • Assisting with seasonal upkeep tasks, such as landscaping or equipment prep.
  • Keeping detailed maintenance logs and completing daily checklists accurately.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Prior experience in janitorial, building, landscape, or facilities maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the McKenzie River area.
  • Attention to detail, especially in pool safety and chemical monitoring.
  • Ability to work independently, managing your time effectively.
  • Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. safely.
  • Capable of working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Location & Schedule:
