Job Title: Temporary Staff Accountant

Pay: $19.00 per hour Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday Start Date: November 12, 2025

As a Temporary Staff Accountant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our accounting operations. Your contributions will help ensure smooth financial workflows and accurate reporting within a collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Do:

As a Temporary Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Processing accounts payable and/or accounts receivable, including entering invoices, matching purchase orders, preparing payments, and applying cash.
• Entering journal entries and assisting with basic general ledger maintenance.
• Completing routine reconciliations for bank statements, credit cards, and simple balance-sheet accounts.
• Maintaining organized and accurate accounting files and documentation.
• Assisting with month-end close tasks as assigned.
• Supporting the accounting team with data entry, reporting updates, and other administrative tasks.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Some accounting experience preferred in AP, AR, bookkeeping, or a similar area.
• Familiarity with accounting software (such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and proficiency in Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• The ability to stay organized and adhere to established processes.
• Reliability, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well within a small team.

Nice to Have — Not Required:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or working toward one).
• Experience with reconciliations or month-end support.

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Creswell, OR, and follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
