Job Title: Temporary Admin Assistant Immediate Opening!

Pay:  $20.00/hour Hours: 7:30AM - 4:00PM Start Date: ASAP, for the months of June/July, potentially longer We are seeking a Temporary Admin Assistant for a Temp position with our client, a reputable manufacturer that supplies high-quality aluminum extrusion products located in Coburg, Oregon. The Temporary Admin Assistant will play an essential role in the hands on processing of aluminum parts.  The ideal candidate will maintain an organized and safe environment while actively contributing to the efficient processing of aluminum products. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a large and local manufacturing facility and further your career in this industry, located in Coburg, Oregon.

As a Temporary Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Greet, screen, and direct all guests and company appointments; tracks sign-in sheet.
  • Ensure all guests are given proper PPE when going out on the Production floor.• Answer all incoming calls and direct accordingly.
  • Assist in maintaining company directories.
  • Track scheduled meetings and appointments.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Assist the Accounting department in Coburg, Phoenix, and Calgary as needed.
  • Collect and process all accounts payable (A/P) billing.
  • Track and manage all archived A/P for audit quality.
  • Review all back-up invoice paperwork.
  • Maintain digital and physical A/P files.
  • Track and review monthly statements for payment processing.
  • Investigate pricing and follow up on credits for returned orders.
  • Assist with credit reference checks for prospective customers as requested by sales team.
  • Assist with purchasing office and Plant supplies.
  • Enter data into MS Excel to support Plant analysis and compliance.
  • Assist Production and supporting departments (HR, EHS, Quality, etc.) as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Must have worked for a previous employer for at least 1 year or longer
  • Ability to customer written specifications regarding packaging requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude.
  •  Ability to lift and maneuver up to 40 lbs consistently and stand for long periods.
