Selectemp is now hiring for a Seasonal Canal Maintenance Worker! This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience while helping keep the city’s canal areas clean, safe, and well maintained.

As a Canal Maintenance Worker you will:

• Clean up Outdoor brush 

• Mow and weed eat in and around the canal.

• Provide lawn care throughout the city along the canal

• Provide trash removal in and around the canal

• Clear berry bushes

• Use power tools to break up debris

The ideal candidate for this position will:

• Have the ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs repeatedly

• Be willing to work in all weather conditions

• Be comfortable with trash removal and outdoor labor

• Possibly  be exposed to Poison Oak (Tecnu will be provided)

• Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
