Job Title: Welder – Urgently Hiring!

Pay: $18.00/hr with opportunity for raises depending on weld test performance every 3 months Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Welder for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a reputable manufacturer of irrigation fittings and equipment products located in Harrisburg, OR. The Welder will play an essential role in fabricating and assembling metal components for farm and commercial applications. The ideal candidate will bring prior welding experience and a strong attention to detail. As a Welder, you will be responsible for:

• Performing MIG welding using a positioner with .045 and .035 wire

• Completing welds primarily from a seated position

• Welding flanges, spools, and various pipe/cylindrical components

• Inspecting welds for quality and accuracy

• Preparing materials by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting

• Replacing wire and adjusting welding settings as needed

• Changing gas tanks when necessary

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Completion of a welding program or prior welding experience

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis

• Strong measurement and math skills

• Familiarity with common shop tools and equipment
