As an HR Generalist, you'll play a vital role in supporting daily HR operations, fostering workforce engagement, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies. You'll work closely with the HR team to deliver results that enhance employee satisfaction and organizational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for:Managing daily HR activities for a high-volume employee base, including handling employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.Overseeing employee relations efforts and providing conflict resolution and support to foster a positive work environment.Ensuring compliance with federal and state labor laws, OSHA regulations, and internal policies.Assisting with performance management processes, including reviews, documentation, and improvement plans.Supporting onboarding and offboarding procedures to guarantee a seamless employee experience.Maintaining accurate personnel records, both digital and physical, and ensuring data confidentiality.Providing HR guidance on policy interpretation and employee engagement initiatives.Collaborating with management to implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.Strong knowledge of HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, labor laws, and personnel management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and related tools.A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous process improvement.Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Albany, OR, and offers a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM.
