Job Title: Mill Production Worker

Pay: $17.50 per hour Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Start Date: ASAP

As a Mill Production Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations and ensuring high-quality production of moulding materials. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team to deliver results that enhance our production efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

As a Mill Production Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating as a team to cut, stack, and bind various wood types for moulding production.
• Feeding a single blade rip saw with wood of varying lengths and checking for defects before passing through the machine, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• Removing boards from the rip saw and stacking them on carts to prepare for bundling and shipping.
• Operating a grinding machine during the initial training weeks, observing and learning from seasoned team members, while engaging and asking questions as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Basic understanding of reading and interpreting a tape measure.
• Ability to use calipers with minimal assistance.
• Willingness to stand and walk throughout the shift, as this is a physically demanding position.
• A team-player mindset to contribute effectively within a small team.
• A valid Driver's License (mandatory), as you may be required to drive a company cargo van or a 24 ft curtain truck for deliveries.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs independently, with training provided on proper lifting techniques.

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Salem, OR, and follows a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
