Company established in 1997 that produces parts with Threaders, Benders, Iron Workers, Cold Saws, Band Saws and Drill Presses, is seeking a
Fabrication Shop Worker.
As a Fabrication Shop Worker you will be responsible for:

Operating machines in a safe manner
-
Setting up and operating machines such as: cold saw, automatic feed table, band saw, drill press, iron worker, threading machines, and forklift.

Communicating both written and oral of technical processes.
-
Reading and understanding our work order processes
and prints when needed
-
Prioritizing jobs as needed and be able to reorganize when new priorities arise

Cleaning up the work area as needed
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
-
Knowledgeable of machine operation
-
Understanding of grades of steel is helpful but not mandatory
-
Ability to read a tape measure
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
-
Ability to convert fractions and decimals.
-
Knowledge of fastener diameter and thread pitches (not mandatory)
