We are seeking a Warehouse and Counter Associate for a temp-to-hire position with our client, a reputable industrial supply company located in Albany, OR. The Warehouse and Counter Associate will play an essential role in supporting warehouse operations and assisting customers at the sales counter. The ideal candidate will bring retail experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work hands-on in a parts-focused environment. As a Warehouse and Counter Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting customers at the counter with orders, inquiries, and purchases

• Accurately picking, packing, and staging orders for shipping or pickup

• Receiving and inspecting incoming inventory for accuracy and quality

• Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training may be provided)

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Retail or customer service experience is required (e.g., AutoZone, NAPA, hardware stores)

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to read small part numbers and labels

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude

• Warehouse experience is a strong plus (Order Picking)

• Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with hoses, fittings, or industrial parts is a big plus

• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs consistently and stand for extended periods
