Job Title: CNC Machinist Urgently Hiring!

Pay: $21-$45/hour - DOE Pr Hours: 6AM-4:30PM Mon-Thurs Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a CNC Machinist for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a reputable metal forgery, located in Albany, Oregon. The CNC Machinist will play an essential role in setting up and operating a variety of milling machines and lathes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on their feet all day. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a wholesome facility and further your career in this industry, located in Albany, OR. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up and operating manual lathes, mills, and surface grinders
• Using precision measuring hand tools to ensure parts meet specifications 
• Understand feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cuts
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications 
• Strong knowledge of metal properties 

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines and lathes 
• Experience programming and maintaining setup on machines, is preferred
• Ability to operate forklifts and other manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs consistently and stand for long periods.
• Proficiency in shop math
