We are seeking a Water Awareness Instructor for an School Year Position, from September to June position for our client, the City of Albany Aquatics Deptartment, at the community pool located in Albany, OR. The Water Awareness Instructor will lead groups of 3rd and 4th graders in the water. They ensure that students not only learn essential safety skills but also develop a keen awareness and respect for the water. The ideal candidate has Red Cross Certifications and prior experience. This is a would be perfect for a stay-at-home parent, or retired person looking to stay active and involved in their community located in Albany, OR.
As a Water Awareness Instructor, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring that students not only learn essential safety skills but also develop a keen awareness and respect for the water
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification Preferred but not required
Prior swimming instruction or a competitive swimming background is preferred, but willing to train on the job.
Benefits:
