We are seeking a Machine Operator for a Temp-to-Hire position with our client, a reputable manufacturer of full-line irrigation fittings and equipment products located in Harrisburg, Oregon. The Machine Operator will play an essential role in operating and maintaining machinery used in the production process. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up and operating machinery and equipment in the rolling department

• Reading job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements

• Observing machine operation to detect workpiece defects or malfunctions

• Measuring workpiece dimensions to verify accuracy

• Stacking, marking, packing, and transporting finished materials

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A strong interest in manufacturing and machine operation

• Previous experience or comfort operating equipment such as punch presses, roll forming machines, saws, and grinders

• The ability to work repetitively for up to 8–10 hours

• The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis

• A safety-first mindset and willingness to follow proper lifting techniques and wear appropriate PPE
