Job Title: Production Operator
Pay: $25.00 / hour
Hours: 4:45 AM – 5:15 PM / 4:45 PM – 5:15 AM (12-hr rotating 2-2-3 schedule; alternates Day/Night every 2 months)
Start Date: 11/09/2026 | Reports To: Production Lead
Join the Selectemp team in Albany for a long-term role in a top-tier manufacturing environment! As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in day-to-day chemical processing operations—safely handling raw materials, monitoring reactors, and loading finished products.
What You'll DoMaterial Handling: Measure and add raw materials (up to 75 lbs) into reactor tanks; handle raw materials and finished products continuously throughout the shift.
Reactor & Process Operations: Monitor processing conditions, temperatures, pressures, and cycle times according to written instructions, reporting any deviations to the Production Lead.
Product Transfer: Transfer finished materials into designated containers, including trucks, following established procedures.
Safety & Upkeep: Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE (respirator, chemical/dust suits), maintain a clean workspace, complete production records, and shower on-site before shift end.
Equipment Learning: Handle hoses, ground equipment, and learn automated machine software controls over time.
Physical Ability: Able to frequently lift/move up to 75 lbs, work at elevated heights (ladders/lifts), and work in warm/cold environments.
Detail-Oriented & Safety-Minded: Able to follow written batch instructions accurately, pass a respirator fit test, and maintain strict safety standards.
Reliability: Reliable transportation, strong attendance, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn. Prior manufacturing, construction, or production experience is preferred.
Competitive Pay: $25.00/hr + 2 hours built-in overtime per shift.
