Job Title: Mill Worker Pay: $24.53/hour Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:00AM - 1:30PM, with overtime as needed, expect to be working sometimes 10-11 hour days Start Date: ASAP Looking for a lifestyle/career benefit? As a Mill Worker, you'll help keep the production line moving and support various processes at the plant. You'll work closely with your team and supervisors to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of the job. What You'll Do As a mill worker, you will be responsible for:

• Working in the glue-lam department
  • Applying adhesives to lumber according to production specifications.
  • Laying up lumber in the correct pattern before it is pressed into beams.
  • Loading and unloading presses where the glued lumber is bonded together.
  • Inspecting finished products for defects, dimensions, and quality.
  • This job can be quite dirty
• Moving lumber materials around the plant, including pulling, stacking, and positioning using both hands and forklifts or other equipment
• Operating various wood processing machines such as cutting, gluing, shaping, or finishing wood and glulam
• Assisting across all departments and departments as needed in a flexible, cross-training environment
• Supporting different workstations—sorting, stacking, machine operation—where support is needed
• Assisting in other areas of the lumber mill or facility as required

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Proven attendance, reliability, flexibility, and coachability
• Physical strength and stamina to perform bending, kneeling, stopping, and twisting tasks
• 2+ years of manufacturing or production experience preferred
• 1+ year of wood manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety policies
• Experience using skill saws, hand, and power tools
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, push, and pull for an 8-10 hour shift
• Ability to lift 50 to 75 lbs. on a semi-consistent basis
• Good work ethic, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude
