Pay: $18-19/hour Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 3:15pm, 30 hours/week (guaranteed 6 hours/day with some days up to 8 hours) Start Date: ASAP

In this hands-on role, you’ll support front office operations, create positive interactions with visitors and partners, and help ensure the efficient running of daily activities. What you’ll do:

As a Temporary Part Time Receptionist, you will be responsible for:

• Professionally welcoming visitors, guests, volunteers, and community partners, and connecting them to the appropriate staff or resources.
• Answering incoming phone calls, directing callers to the right contacts, and making community referrals as needed.
• Sharing information about the organization’s mission with visitors and community members to foster positive engagement.
• Supporting clerical duties by maintaining volunteer records, assisting with print materials, mailings, and newsletters to support organizational communications.
• Receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail to the appropriate staff.
• Recording financial donations accurately and collaborating with Finance and Development teams.
• Processing and recording credit card, check, and cash transactions efficiently.
• Managing schedules, reservations, and ticket sales for fundraising events, community kitchens, and classes.
• Performing additional duties as assigned to support team needs and community programs.

What you’ll bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (highly preferred).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or the ability to quickly learn company-specific programs.
• Prior experience providing excellent customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent (in progress or completed).
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a friendly attitude.
• Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
