Job Title: Production Plating Technician

Pay: $19.00/hour Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Start Date: ASAP

In this role, you’ll be integral to supporting our plating operations, ensuring high-quality finishes, and maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. Collaborate closely with your team to meet production goals and uphold safety standards.

What You’ll Do:

As a Production Plating Technician, you will be responsible for conducting metal plating processes, including anodizing, chromate, and passivation, adhering to quality and safety specifications. You will strip aluminum racks in preparation for subsequent orders, assist with equipment maintenance and recommend replacements as needed. Ensuring safety protocols and good housekeeping practices are followed is vital. You will communicate effectively with team members about work progress, concerns, or chemical smells, and provide assistance to other departments as directed. Punctuality and teamwork are essential to ensuring smooth operations and meeting production targets. You may perform other duties as assigned to support overall department goals.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate does not need prior experience, as paid training will be provided. You should possess strong attention to detail, be highly coachable, and able to follow instructions. Basic math skills such as addition and subtraction are required. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally is necessary. You must be comfortable handling and reaching with your hands and arms, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Certification in chemical handling or related fields is a plus but not required.

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Wood Village, OR. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
