Job Title: Automotive Service Technician Urgently Hiring!

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 DOE Hours: Monday - Friday,  7:00AM - 4:00PM  Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Automotive Service Technician for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a reputable Automotive Company, located in Bend, Oregon.

The  Automotive Service Technician will play an essential role in inspecting, diagnosing and repairing vehicles.  This is a great opportunity to be a part of a wholesome Automotive Company and further your career in this industry.

As a Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to accurately diagnose issues

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, brake inspections, etc.

• Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors

• Test drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to ensure repairs are successful

• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs

• Advise customers or service advisors on repair options, costs, and timelines

• Follow safety protocols and comply with shop procedures and industry standards

• Keep work area clean and organized

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Proven experience as an auto mechanic (2+ years preferred)

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques

• Ability to operate shop equipment such as lifts, alignment machines, and diagnostic scanners

• Physical ability to lift heavy parts, work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods

• ASE certification or willingness to obtain is a plus
