We are seeking a
Electronics Repair Technician for a
Temp-Hire position with our client, a local manufacturing firm located in
West Eugene makes scanning equipment for grocery stores on an international scale.
The
Electronics Repair Technician will play an essential role in the hands on operations of inventory and product and shipping and receiving duties
. The ideal candidate will maintain an organized and safe environment while actively contributing to the efficient processing of machinery parts.
This is a great

As a Electronics Repair Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnose, simple electronic/mechanical failures (most are predictable) using established procedures and techniques
- Very basic repair of circuit boards at a component level (if/when required)
- Complete documentation using a few screens on the company’s ERP System
- In this role you will unbox/ receive freight/and process units into Return Material
Authorization (RMA) – it’s the mechanism (in the system) that allows a customer to return items for service or for repair.
- You will match paperwork with unit and place in bin. You will put items on product cart MW-Hand Held Scanners (HHS)-Fixed Retail scanners (FRS) in order of Require End date, which is the date Repair is to be completed and returned to our customer.
- Send out e-mails to RMA group of any issues and complete various spreadsheets for Tech-Eval, Problem Shelf, RFB’S received etc.
- Help out as needed with other tasks and Cross Train on other process areas: QRP fulfillment, Closing, Tech-Evals, Service repair Daily Audit, Problem Shelf and various other tasks.
- Must maintain reliable attendance and be courteous in the treatment, communication, and interaction involving all working relationships, internal and external.
- Should have good interpersonal abilities, ability to work in a team, focus on results, attention to details, flexibility and creativity, proactivity, willingness to learn, capability to work in a dynamic team and in a complex environment, problem solving attitude, open minded, accountable (“Say-Do” ethics).
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs repeatedly
- On feet for duration of shift
