We are hiring an Industrial Painter for a full-time, temp-to-hire position with our client, a trusted fabrication facility located in Salem, Oregon. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone with strong attention to detail and experience painting industrial equipment. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and painting industrial equipment, support structures, and parts
• Mixing and applying various paint and epoxy systems
• Ensuring consistent, high-quality coating finishes
• Maintaining paint equipment and a clean work area
• Moving large assemblies using forklifts and overhead cranes
• Performing PMs and basic maintenance on paint guns and related tools

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• 3–5 years of industrial painting experience in a manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of different paints and two-part epoxy systems
• Basic math ability in order to mix paint and components in correct ratios
• Experience with forklift, overhead and jib cranes, and other rigging equipment 
• Ability to wear a respirator for extended periods
• Ability to work in awkward physical positions required to prepare and paint products, including long periods of standing, kneeling, stooping, crouching, or reaching (including overhead) to coat areas out of reach.
• Very strong attention to detail
