Job Title: Green Chain Sawmill Laborer – Swing Shift

Pay: $19.00–$22.50/hr (Increase upon rollover after 90 days) Hours: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM Start Date: ASAP

As a Green Chain Sawmill Laborer, you’ll play a key role in the production process by sorting and organizing lumber to ensure quality and efficiency across operations. This full-time, temp-to-hire position offers consistency, growth potential, and the chance to be part of a tight-knit team.

  What You’ll Do:

• Sort lumber by grade and length, placing materials into proper slots to build loads
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment
• Work alongside team members to keep workflow moving smoothly
• Move quickly and safely along catwalks while handling materials

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous sawmill or green chain experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate!)
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to jump in where needed
• Good hand-eye coordination and balance
• Ability to learn lumber grades, product types, and sorting techniques
• Reliable work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a clean, organized work area

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Riddle, OR, working swing shift hours Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime as needed.
