Job Title: Packaging & Finishing Laborer – Urgently Hiring!

Pay: $17.75/hr Hours:  6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Start Date: ASAP Duration: Temporary to temp-hire 

We are seeking a Packaging & Finishing Laborer for a temporary position with our client, a reputable powder coating company located in Albany, OR. The Packaging & Finishing Laborer will play an essential role in preparing parts for coating, inspecting finished products, and completing final packaging. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent hand dexterity, and a commitment to quality. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a well-established facility and further your career in production or manufacturing, located right here in the Willamette Valley.

As a Packaging & Finishing Laborer, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing parts for coating, including masking and plugging threaded holes

• Inspecting powder-coated parts visually and physically for defects

• Performing touch-up and rework as needed

• Wrapping parts in foam, boxing, and palletizing finished goods

• Keeping the work area clean and organized

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in production, packaging, or assembly

• Strong attention to detail and manual hand dexterity

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally and stand for 8–10 hours

• Positive attitude and strong reliability
