Pay: $21.00 - $42.00 per hour  -Weekend Morning Differential: $2.50/hr. Weekend Afternoon differential: $3.00/hr Shifts available: Weekend shift: Friday–Sunday with overtime - Morning: 3:30AM - 3:30PM - Afternoon: 3:30PM - 3:30AM Start Date: ASAP

Summary:

We are seeking a Lead CNC Machinist for a Direct-Hire position with our client, a reputable manufacturer, located in Albany, Oregon. This role offers hands-on experience with state-of-the-art CNC equipment in a high-precision manufacturing environment. Ideal for someone with strong machining and quality control skills who’s eager to grow, learn, and contribute to a collaborative team.

As a Lead CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up and operating CNC mill-turn equipment safely and efficiently.
• Interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications.
• Loading and measuring materials, ensuring parts meet dimensional requirements.
• Diagnosing and resolving machining issues in coordination with programmers and team members.
• Maintaining accurate production and inspection documentation.
• Supporting other shop functions as needed, including manual lathe, EDM, and forging.
• Training other machinists as needed 

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Proficiency in measurement tools and in-process inspection.
• Strong math, geometry, and blueprint reading skills.
• Experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Strong leadership skills
