Selectemp is  looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to assist at a  fireworks stand for the busy weeks leading up to the 4th of July. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers

• Greet customers warmly as they approach the cashier stand.
• Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Answer customer questions regarding fireworks products, prices, and promotions.
• Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining an organized and clean work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures related to handling fireworks.
• Help with setup and take down of the fireworks stand as needed

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is required
• Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system accurately.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Willingness to adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
