Job Title: Shipping and Receiving – Urgently Hiring!

We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving professional for a Temp-to-Hire position with our client, a reputable industrial equipment manufacturer located in Philomath, OR. This role plays a key part in managing all incoming and outgoing spare parts and freight to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

As a Shipping and Receiving professional, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments

• Verifying, documenting, and processing all incoming freight and spare parts

• Preparing, packaging, and processing outbound shipments

• Organizing stock, managing inventory, and performing regular audits

• Safely loading/unloading delivery vehicles and efficiently picking/packing orders

• Operating a Class C truck and trailer for deliveries as needed (no further than the Portland area)

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Experience with inventory and shipping/receiving operations

• Forklift certification is required

• Ability to drive a truck and trailer (no overnight travel; deliveries limited to Portland area. No CDL required)

• Current driver’s license and a clean driving record

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

• Familiarity with industrial machinery components

• Familiarity with mill equipment & Mill environments are a plus

• Customer service experience is a plus

• Experience with inventory management software is preferred
