Job Title: Maintenance Technician Urgently Hiring

Pay: Negotiable DOE ($37-$46) Hours: Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30pm Start Date: ASAP We are recruiting for a local, sustainable Corvallis employer looking for a hard worker to join a growing team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely, efficiently and accurately operating machines for the paper pulp process.  This position is DIRECT HIRE

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Review maintenance work orders as assigned; identify, recommend, implement and document optimal solutions.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production or processing equipment; specific skills include mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding; may repair/replace motors, rebuild/replace pumps, repair electro-mechanical equipment, lubricate equipment; document equipment problems and solutions.
• Perform general and preventive maintenance on plant buildings including pipe fitting and plumbing tasks, general electrical and lighting tasks, and work to comply with regulatory codes.
• Perform welding tasks as needed in proper maintenance of equipment and the facility; materials welded may include steel, stainless steel, and other alloys using different welding equipment and techniques; all-position welding may be required.
• Assist in making electrical installation/repairs as required (i.e., wiring).

The ideal candidate for this role will have: 

• A high school diploma or GED as a bare minimum; Prefer a trade school or apprenticeship graduate; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
• A minimum of five (5) years of Industrial Manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and arc welding is a plus.
• PLC Programming knowledge 
• Ability to work overtime and flexible hours as needed to support manufacturing.
