We are seeking a motivated Shipping & Receiving worker in Salem to carry out various tasks in a busy manufacturing environment. The Shipping & Receiving worker will be responsible for preparing items for shipment, receives all inbound material, maintains inventory and supplies all shipping and packaging material to the plant. Specialized worker will be responsible for releasing products from cold storage facilities and scheduling shipments. A successful applicant will be responsible for safely operating equipment in the assigned area while maintaining a high degree of quality for our products and working as efficiently as possible for our continuous operation facilities.

As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Operating mechanized equipment safely, efficiently, and within specifications.
• Loading and Unloading materials/finished goods with the use of powered industrial vehicles.
• Preparing shipping documentation and records. Ability to generate inbound/outbound shipping labels.
• Verifying accuracy of shipping and receiving orders and records.
• Transferring products between cold storage and manufacturing facility.
• Entering and maintaining accurate data in SAP
• Assisting in tracking any missing or delayed shipments.
• Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience 
• Must have Forklift Experience
• Experience with warehouse management systems
