Job Title: Structural Steel Welder Fabricator

Pay: $27 - $33 per hour Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (potential to extend to 4:30 PM), M-F Start Date: ASAP

As a Structural Steel Welder Fabricator, you’ll play a vital role in producing high-quality steel components. You will work closely with the production team to ensure precision and excellence in every project.

What You’ll Do

As a Structural Steel Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for:

• Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements and follow process procedures.
• Operating welding equipment using processes such as FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, SAW, and others as needed.
• Utilizing various equipment and machines, including brakes, shears, and manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting tools, along with brazing and soldering equipment.
• Performing layout and fit-up of structural steel components including beams, columns, braces, and connections.
• Repairing worn parts of metal products by welding additional layers.
• Completing other duties as assigned to ensure project success.

What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of structural steel welding experience.
• Familiarity with AWS welding symbols.
• A strong desire to work consistently in the shop rather than travel.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• A safety-conscious mindset.
• The capability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs consistently and stand for extended periods.
