Field Millwright – Travel, Build & Earn $25–$30/hr!

Pay: $25.00–$30.00/hour DOE

Schedule: Full-Time | Travel Required Home Base: Lebanon, OR Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for an experienced Field Millwright to join a skilled team that designs, builds, and installs material-handling systems throughout Oregon and surrounding states.

This is the kind of job where no two projects are exactly the same. You’ll travel to industrial sites, work with large-scale machinery, install conveyors and equipment, solve mechanical problems, and see projects come together because of the work you did.

What You’ll Do

• Travel to customer sites throughout Oregon and surrounding states for installation and project work.
• Install and assemble industrial machinery, conveyors, shafting, and material-handling systems.
• Read blueprints, layouts, and technical drawings to determine installation procedures.
• Rig, lift, move, and position heavy machinery using cranes, hoists, jacks, rollers, and other equipment.
• Align and level machinery for precise installation and operation.
• Dismantle, repair, modify, and reinstall industrial equipment.
• Weld, fabricate, cut, fit, and assemble components in the field.
• Build and prepare foundations and structural supports for equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and find solutions when things don't go exactly according to plan.
• Work alongside other skilled tradespeople to take projects from blueprint to completed installation.

What You’ll Have

• 3+ years of millwright, industrial maintenance, equipment installation, or related experience.
• Experience in wood products, lumber, sawmills, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, layouts, and technical drawings.
• Experience with rigging, machinery alignment, conveyors, bearings, shafting, and industrial equipment.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Familiarity with precision measuring and alignment tools.
• Engine lathe experience is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to travel to jobsites throughout the region.
• A strong safety mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a field crew.
