As a Burn Table Operator, you'll play a vital role in supporting production efficiency and ensuring high-quality metal cuts. You'll collaborate with team members to set up machines, interpret blueprints, and deliver precision results that keep the manufacturing process running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Burn Table Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Operating CNC plasma and oxy-fuel burn tables to accurately cut metal materials according to specifications.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, nesting layouts, and work orders to ensure proper setup.
• Setting up and aligning materials on cutting tables to guarantee precision.
• Inputting and monitoring machine programs to optimize quality and production speed.
• Inspecting finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and gauges to verify specifications.
• Removing, cleaning, and staging parts for subsequent manufacturing steps.
• Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize machine downtime.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace following OSHA and company safety standards.
• Assisting in forklift operation as needed to move materials safely within the shop.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Prior CNC burn table experience, including plasma and oxy-fuel operations.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and nesting layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills for inputting and verifying machine programs.
• Valid forklift certification and experience operating a forklift (preferred).
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and safety-conscious attitude.
