Pay: $25.90/hour Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM (Swing Shift) Start Date: ASAP

As a Packaging Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machinery, supporting quality standards, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals. You’ll work directly with supervisors and maintenance teams to keep processes running smoothly and ensure safety at every step.

What You'll Do

As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting packaging machinery to maintain high-speed production flow.
• Performing routine machine changeovers, adjustments, and basic maintenance tasks, partnering with the maintenance team for repairs.
• Accurately documenting production activities, quality checks, and deviations in real-time using digital systems such as "Red Zone" or other manufacturing software.
• Leading assigned processes, guiding peers, and coordinating team efforts to meet daily production targets.
• Identifying and reporting non-conformances immediately to ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in machine-based manufacturing, preferably within a GMP or food production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and understand machine functions.
• Comfort working in a high-speed environment managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to give clear instructions and support peers.
• Basic math skills for weights, unit conversions, and data entry.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Location & Schedule:

This on-site role is based in Albany, OR, working in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You’ll be exposed to different temperatures, including dry and cold rooms, with strict safety protocols and PPE requirements to ensure a safe workplace.
