What You'll Do

As a Building & Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Performing minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging sinks and toilets, fixing faucets, and cleaning up spills to keep facilities functional and safe.
• Conducting seasonal groundskeeping activities like weeding, leaf blowing, raking, and trimming shrubs using gas and electric tools to maintain attractive landscapes.
• Assisting with pressure washing and painting of structures and outdoor fixtures to preserve the integrity of buildings and outdoor spaces.
• Supporting logistical tasks such as moving furniture or equipment during office relocations, including lifting and navigating stairs.
• Responding to weather conditions by performing snow removal or other weather-related maintenance tasks, ensuring public safety during adverse conditions.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of flower beds, walkways, and trash receptacles to promote a tidy environment.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• A background in manual labor, maintenance, or groundskeeping, with the ability to handle physical tasks safely.
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions—rain, sun, or cold.
• Experience operating power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and pressure washers, or willingness to learn.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for logistical support.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule ranging from 15 to 30 hours weekly based on project needs.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and work on hands and knees, particularly for outdoor maintenance and flower bed care.
