As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll play a crucial role in efficient logging operations, ensuring safe and smooth yard management while working closely with the team to support operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Safely unloading log trucks and stacking logs in designated storage areas to optimize yard efficiency.
• Assisting in feeding logs into the chipper, supporting production workflows.
• Performing basic maintenance and routine care on heavy machinery, including wheel loaders, shovels, and cranes.
• Keeping the log yard organized and maintained to ensure safety and productivity.
• Supporting team efforts in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, shovels, cranes, or similar machinery (experience is helpful but not mandatory).
• A mechanically inclined skill set with a willingness to learn and perform basic repairs and maintenance.
• Strong safety awareness and a commitment to operational safety standards.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift moderate loads as needed.
• A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Location & Schedule:

This is an on-site, field-based position in Lyons, Oregon, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 7am to 5pm. Some days may end earlier depending on workload.
