Job Title: Assembler I

Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour, DOE Hours: Monday – Friday, 5:30AM - 3:30PM Start Date: ASAP

As an Assembler I, you’ll work closely with supervisors and team members to safely assemble, fit, and join mechanical components, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications and schedules.

What You’ll Do:

• Clean, assemble, and fit component parts, machined parts, and sub-assemblies with precision.
• Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, hydraulic tools, and measurement instruments to complete tasks accurately.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions to ensure proper assembly.
• Remove burrs and rough edges using files, hone stones, or pneumatic grinders.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move and position heavy components safely.
• Make minor adjustments, perform setups, or repairs to equipment under supervision.
• Identify defective materials and follow established procedures to address issues.
• Support production standards while meeting strict deadlines.
• Assist with additional tasks such as basic welding, washing, priming, or painting as needed.
• Maintain strict safety practices and report safety concerns immediately to ensure a secure work environment.

What You’ll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• 0–2 years of heavy equipment or manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Basic mechanical knowledge and assembly skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and use measuring tools correctly.
• Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance, a solid work ethic, and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to handle production deadlines and accept constructive feedback.

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Eugene, OR, in a manufacturing shop environment, working daytime hours Monday through Friday.
