Pay: $25-$32/hr + DOE (additional $2-$3/hr for overhead crane certified)
Hours: Up to 6 days/week, 12 hrs/day (40+ hours on a regular weekly basis)

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
As a Field Millwright, you will be responsible for:
- Installing machinery and equipment based on layout plans, blueprints, and technical drawings in industrial settings.
- Dismantling machines using torches, hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools for repairs or relocations.
- Moving and positioning machinery using cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks to ensure precise installation.
- Assembling and installing equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails utilizing welders and various hand and power tools.
- Constructing foundations for machinery with hand tools and materials like wood, cement, and steel to ensure stability.
- Aligning machines and equipment with hoists, jacks, measuring devices, and precision tools for optimal performance.
- Securing machines to foundations or structures through bolting, welding, riveting, and fastening techniques.
- Performing routine repairs, lubrication, and preventative maintenance to keep machinery operating at peak efficiency.
- Attaching cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, and blocks to overhead structures using bolts and clamps.
- Setting up, bracing, and rigging hoisting and lifting equipment with hand tools and power wrenches.
- Splicing ropes and wire cables for creating or repairing slings and tackle systems.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of experience as a millwright, preferably within the wood products, lumber, or mill industries.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in operating engine lathes and other machining tools to create precise parts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated safety awareness and reliable work ethic.
