Job Title: Temporary Sanitation Worker (3rd Shift)

Pay: $16.50 per hour Hours: Friday – Tuesday, 10:00PM – 6:30AM Training: First few weeks on day shift Start Date: ASAP

Join a wholesome, well-established production facility that creates granola, cereal, and flake products as a Food Production Sanitation Worker in Eugene, Oregon, and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality.

As a Sanitation Worker, you’ll support the cleanliness and operational readiness of all food production equipment and areas, ensuring that the facility meets strict food safety standards. You’ll play a vital role in keeping the production environment safe and compliant.

What You’ll Do

As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Cleaning food production and packaging equipment according to the Master Sanitation Schedule and company procedures

• Disassembling, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembling equipment following strict SOPs

• Performing HACCP-related tasks, including environmental swabbing and testing (ATP, Salmonella, Listeria)

• Conducting brittle plastic and broken glass inspections and eliminating residue from product-contact surfaces

• Monitoring bullet magnets and reporting any anomalies

• Following all safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions immediately

• Practicing Good Housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times

• Maintaining accurate sanitation logs, reports, and documentation

• Training and certifying other employees as assigned

• Supporting all Food Safety and Quality programs

• Completing any additional duties assigned by the Sanitation Supervisor

• This position is temporary, about three months

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or GED (required)

• Ability to stand for 8+ hours with bending, stooping, and twisting

• Physical ability to work in a food production environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Reliability, work ethic, and willingness to follow procedures

Location & Schedule
