Job Title: Press Operators — Urgently Hiring!

Pay: $18-20/hour Hours: 6AM-4:30PM Mon-Thurs to start, but will be moved to swing shift (4PM-2:30AM) after training is complete, usually after the first week. Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Press Operator for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a reputable metal forgery, located in Albany, Oregon. The Press Operator will play an essential role in setting up and operating a variety of presses. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on their feet all day. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a wholesome facility and further your career in this industry, located in Albany, OR.

What You'll Do:

As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Operating a variety of presses, manual lathes, and other equipment
• Using grinders, belt and disc sanders to finish parts 
• Using precision measuring hand tools to ensure parts meet specifications
• Operating other equipment as needed 

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience operating presses or similar machinery 
• Ability to operate forklifts and other manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in using a tape measure or similar tool for precise measurements
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs consistently and stand for long periods.

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Albany, OR, and offers Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM shifts.
