The Plant Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining all industrial equipment at the plant site.

Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician:
- Troubleshoot and perform inspections, repair and maintenance on parts of equipment and machines including electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
- Repair production line equipment including conveyor bets, packaging equipment, grinding equipment and stacking equipment.
- May maintain records of jobs performed in order to develop a history of repairs so that preventative maintenance can be performed.
- May perform or assist in the installation of machinery and equipment.
- Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Cut and welding, including light steel fabrication
- Performs maintenance duties or other duties as assigned.
- Keeps wok area clean, orderly and safe.
- Inspects and adjusts equipment.
Skills and Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:

Prior relevant maintenance experience.
- Electrical troubleshooting, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repair experience helpful.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb platforms, ladders to make repairs.
- Ability to maintain written records.

Ability to work 2nd shift
- Teachable attitude and ability to learn on the job in a fast paced environment.
