Job Title: Production Operator Hiring Now!

Pay: $17.00/hour Hours: 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday - Friday  Start Date: ASAP We are seeking an Production Operator for a Temp-Hire position with our client a local company that manufactures metal parts such as plates, brackets, straps, coils, etc. located in Springfield, Oregon. The Press Operator will help produce these parts! This is a great opportunity to build a career in the this industry. 

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Set up machines to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed) for optimal output
• Quality Inspect parts according provided specifications
• Spot welding strut pieces together
• Load and set up un-coilers
• Label and stack parts coming directly out of the roll form press
• Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift
• Regularly check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keep accurate production counts and enter them into time system
• Clean up work area at the end of each work day
• Perform various other tasks when required

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Proven experience as a machine operator
• Prior maintenance experience is a plus
• Welding experience is a plus
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day
