Duties and Responsibilities for Welder

• MIG, TIG, Fluxcore, and Dual Shield welding openings available
• Cut and prepare surfaces or components, lay out, position, fit, tack, weld, and finish a variety of parts or products following prescribed methods and specifications
• Handle and position heavy components using an overhead crane, clamps, jigs, and fixtures.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions.
• Other duties as assigned
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Shop cleanup

Skills and Qualifications for Welder

• Prior welding experience required
• MIG welding experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints
• Lifting up to 30lbs
