Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Pay: $21.00 – $28.00 per hour, DOE Hours: Monday – Friday, 3:30PM – 12:00AM Start Date: ASAP

Looking for a skilled fabrication role in a world-class metal shop? Join a respected local manufacturer specializing in high-quality contract fabrication as a Press Brake Operator in Eugene, Oregon, and expand your precision forming and metalworking skills in a fast-paced environment.

As a Press Brake Operator, you’ll set up, program, and operate press brake machinery to bend and form metal parts to exact specifications, helping support production goals and uphold strict quality standards throughout the shop.

What You’ll Do

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up, adjusting, and operating press brake machines

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, bend schedules, and fabrication drawings

• Selecting tooling, dies, and appropriate machine settings based on job requirements

• Performing test bends and making adjustments to ensure accuracy and part conformance

• Producing metal parts with precise angles, bends, and tolerances

• Handling materials manually or using overhead cranes and forklifts

• Marking and documenting completed parts with correct job order and routing info

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with shop protocols

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Press brake or fabrication machine operation experience (preferred)

• Strong reading, math, and dimensional measurement skills

• Ability to interpret blueprints and understand bend allowances

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver large metal parts safely

• Comfort operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and related equipment

• Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic
