Pay: $18-$22/hr Hours: 8:00 AM – Until Done (Full 8-hour day expected) Start Date: 06/29/2026

As a Carpenter Helper, you'll assist with a variety of hands-on tasks to support a local contractor. You’ll work closely with experienced carpenters to help prep materials, handle tools, and contribute to a successful project day.

What You'll Do

As a Carpenter Helper, you will be responsible for: • Measurement & Math: Ability to accurately read a tape measure (down to 1/16 of an inch), use framing squares, and perform basic math for calculations and material cuts. • Hand & Power Tool Proficiency: Experience safely operating essential tools like circular saws, miter saws, reciprocating saws, nail guns, drills, chisels, and levels. • Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret basic technical drawings, building plans, and structural schematics. • Material Knowledge: Understanding the differences between various wood types, engineered lumber, fasteners, and adhesives, and knowing when to use each.
