Job Title: CNC Production Machinist

Pay: $18-$22/hr DOE Hours: Monday – Thursday | 5 am-3:30 pm (must be willing to work OT Fridays and Saturdays as needed) Start Date: ASAP

What You’ll Do:

As a CNC Production Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC milling and/or turning machines. You will load and unload materials and workpieces, which may weigh up to 50 pounds, ensuring smooth machine operation and making necessary adjustments. You will inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools, interpret blueprints and technical drawings, and perform routine maintenance on machinery. You will follow strict safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and stand for extended periods during your shift. Collaboration with team members is vital to meet production deadlines, and flexibility to work weekends on short notice is required. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support overall operations.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate will possess a High School Diploma or GED. Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required; technical training is a plus. Experience with CNC machine operation is required. You should be proficient in reading blueprints and using measuring tools, reliable, motivated, and career-oriented. Attention to detail and a strong willingness to learn and grow within the company are essential. Please note that the shop environment has a strong oil odor, so candidates should not be sensitive to this smell during the workday.

Location & Schedule:

This is an on-site position in Sutherlin, OR, with a Monday through Thursday shift, 5 am to 3:30 pm. Flexibility to work OT on Fridays and Saturdays is required to meet production demands.
