Job Title: CNC Laser Operator

Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour, DOE Hours:

• Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Swing Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM Start Date: ASAP

Join a respected local manufacturer specializing in high-quality contract fabrication as a CNC Laser Operator in Eugene, Oregon, and expand your technical machining skills in a fast-paced environment. As a CNC Laser Operator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting production goals and maintaining quality standards across the shop.

What You’ll Do:

As a CNC Laser Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up, loading, adjusting, and operating CNC plasma/oxy-fuel burning machines.
• Producing metal parts with precise shapes, cuts, and tolerances.
• Selecting job priorities, materials, cutting methods, and appropriate speeds.
• Making machine adjustments and program edits to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Providing feedback and improvement notes to the CNC Programmer.
• Marking all cut products with job order and routing information.
• Handling materials manually or using overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Maintaining a clean, safe workspace while adhering to shop protocols.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A minimum of three months of CNC operation or burning experience (preferred).
• Strong reading, math, and dimensional measurement skills.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and load/unload material from cutting tables.
• Comfort with overhead cranes, forklifts, and shop machinery.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
