Maintenance Technician

Long-standing company that manufactures full line irrigation fittings & equipment products for farm and commercial use seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Airport Road!

The Maintenance Technician will inspect different equipment and perform any repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have 1-2 years of previous experience, be able to prioritize tasks, and be highly skilled with various hand and power tools. The Maintenance position will include fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings and machines, including large projects which may take multiple days. Task may include plumbing work, painting, building repair and upkeep, and electrical repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician:

• Conduct routine safety checks and maintenance on equipment
• Detect, identify and repair building issues such as basic problems with electrical, plumbing and carpentry
• Assemble mechanical components, perform repairs
• Keep repair tools and supplies clean and organized
• Systems Management/Record Maintenance
• Help manage maintenance supplies and work orders
• Prioritize job duties to ensure all deadlines are met
• Maintain records of work and inspections done on-premises
• Perform inventory on repair supplies

Skills and Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:

• Prior handyman, mechanic, or machine maintenance required
• Open to considering applicants with transferable skills in construction, maintenance,  and machine operation
• 1-2 years of machine maintenance experience preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of maintenance procedures.
• Leadership skills a plus.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Job Details for Maintenance Technician:

Temp-Hire Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm  Pay Rate: $17.50 - 19.50/hour, DOE
