We are seeking a motivated Shipping & Receiving worker in Salem to carry out various tasks in a busy manufacturing environment. The Shipping & Receiving worker will be responsible for preparing items for shipment, receives all inbound material, maintains inventory and supplies all shipping and packaging material to the plant. Specialized worker will be responsible for releasing products from cold storage facilities and scheduling shipments. A successful applicant will be responsible for safely operating equipment in the assigned area while maintaining a high degree of quality for our products and working as efficiently as possible for our continuous operation facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities for Shipping & Receiving:

• Operating mechanized equipment safely, efficiently, and within specifications.
• Load and Unload materials/finished goods with the use of powered industrial vehicles.
• Prepare shipping documentation and records. Ability to generate inbound/outbound shipping labels.
• Verify accuracy of shipping and receiving orders and records.
• Transfer products between cold storage and manufacturing facility.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in SAP
• Assist in tracking any missing or delayed shipments.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications for Shipping & Receiving:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience 
• Forklift experience is a MUST  (if they have their own certification, please bring it with them on first day)
• Experience with warehouse management systems

Job Details for Shipping & Receiving:

• Temporary with the ability to apply for the position!
• 1st Shift: 6:45am - 3:15pm Mon-Fri  (report at 6:30am on Day #1)
• WEEKENDS may be needed, but they try to give at least 3 days of advanced notice IF the need is there.
• $18/hr
